Performance Issues

During the course of peak loading periods both today and yesterday we have been experiencing performance issues on our server infrastructure. We are acutely aware of these issues with the highest impact screens being invoice or report generation related.

Given that it is end of month and with the massive increase in user numbers we have experienced it is apparent that we are quickly outgrowing our current infrastructure. Tomorrow morning, 02 November, at 7am NZDT we will be taking the server environment down for 5 minutes as we look to significantly increase the capacity of the infrastructure.

We apologise to all of our patient and passionate users who are currently experiencing issues and we will continue to monitor and update throughout the course of today as we look to manage the current spike in loading.

Updated - 2:40pm: Further investigation has highlighted that long running reports in the report builder are potentially the cause of the slowdown. A number of the longest running requests are related to viewing a report in the report builder or exporting it to CSV. Performance will continue to be impacted for brief periods presently.
