"Practical Access Solutions We are a small Rope Access company, working with Engineers, Builders and Architects to refurbish, paint, repair and make-safe multi storey buildings throughout Sydney. The business seemed too straightforward to warrant an involved administrative system but when one honest client recently advised us that we had failed to invoice them for a number of small projects (well over $10,000 worth!) we figured it was time to arrive in the 21st century. Our IT consultant Rene from Elscomm recommended WorkFlowMax. Rene configured the system for us and after a brief training session (brief because the system is so easy to understand and navigate) we were up and running. We initially only wanted something to connect our quotes to jobs, jobs to invoices and invoices to our accounting system (so we didn’t lose anything!) We got much more than that. WFM enables us now to track quotes and jobs and get invoices out the same day a job finishes. No more shuffling through PO’s and work orders to track who was on each job, when it finished, what the expenses were , how profitable it was. We know instantly what we are owed, when it’s due; how much is profit, tax, costs. All the information we need on a daily basis is accessible through WFM; from Client’s addresses and contact details to every job we have done for them and the profitability of each. We can schedule and plan work well ahead; do analyses on the run and provide whatever our accountant needs without bothering the book keeper. Our Sales guy can provide a professional quote immediately; hand it to the client (branded, costed and approved) before he leaves the site. How good’s that!
