Xero to retire WorkflowMax on 26 June 2024.
BlueRock developing new product with similar functionality.
Today (23 March 2023) Xero announced its plans to retire the WorkflowMax product.
After considering many options and balancing those against competing priorities, the difficult decision was made to retire WorkflowMax on 26 June 2024. This means the WorkflowMax product will no longer be available to use from this date.
This isn’t a decision that has been made lightly, nor does it have any reflection on how much the product has been used over the years.
Xero has signed an agreement with tech-led business advisory firm, BlueRock, to take over the WorkflowMax brand. BlueRock has kicked off development of a new job management solution (to be known as WorkflowMax by BlueRock), with similar functionality to WorkflowMax which it expects to make available for customers in early 2024 as a potential alternative job management solution. It will be entirely up to existing customers to choose the right solution that meets their needs, and existing WorkflowMax customers will not automatically be migrated to WorkflowMax by BlueRock.
Please note that if you purchase WorkflowMax by BlueRock, you accept that Xero will receive a revenue share from BlueRock. WorkflowMax by BlueRock is not a Xero product so we recommend you check it out for yourself to make sure it's the right fit for you. We're not responsible for information provided by BlueRock or the WorkflowMax by BlueRock product.
When the time is right, you may also like to look at other Xero integrated apps that are available, which may suit your specific needs via the Xero App Store.
From the date of announcement (23 March 2023), you have approximately 15 months before WorkflowMax is retired and right up until that date, we’re committed to maintaining the current product and support experience for existing customers.
