Every IR form you complete is in itself a job. You need to record time against it, manage who is doing the work, store emails and documents, you may even need to provide a quote to the client before completing the return. WorkflowMax combines the power of the Practice Manager with Tax Management. Completing a tax return is no longer done in isolation. Every minute spent preparing work papers, filling in the form, and filing with the Inland Revenue can be recorded against the job that the return is stored against.

Import return information directly from Xero
WorkflowMax has a completely seamless interface with the Xero general ledger. When you file a GST return in Xero you can import that return directly into the GST form within WorkflowMax ready for filing with the Inland Revenue. Completing an IR4 will never be easier as you import the end of year financial information directly from the set of annual accounts you have prepared in Xero.

Workflow Management
The same workflow principles we use to manage jobs so successfully have been applied to the Tax Management module. At a glance you can see which returns are waiting for approval or have been filed and are waiting assessment. Exception reporting will notify you of any issues with the assessment and keep the entire team informed as to the next steps in the management of the tax returns.

E-Filing with the Inland Revenue
As soon as you complete it the return it is batched ready for delivery to the Inland Revenue. All returns are sent every evening to the Inland Revenue, with any assessments and exceptions automatically pushing back into the Tax Managment grid highlighting what needs to happen next with each return.

Import statement of account
Daily feeds are imported directly from the Inland Revenue updating the state of account information, ensuring that any payments received by the Inland Revenue are automatically updated against each return, saving you hours of time reviewing payment information via the Inland Revenue website.
