Koren Wines moves to Xero Asia as Managing Director

I have some bittersweet but exciting news to share with you all today. After 2.5 years as the General Manager of WorkflowMax, I'll be stepping into a new role as the Managing Director of Xero Asia effective immediately,  and moving to Singapore with my family at the end of the year.

I wanted to take a moment to reflect on some of the things I’m most proud of as I’ve worked with an amazing team of individuals, partners and you, our phenomenal customers, to help drive productivity and performance for you, every single day. At the start of my journey in 2019, we embarked on a very significant project to separate WorkflowMax from Xero Practice Manager. The  goal was to create one project management solution for our small and medium business customers that’s completely focused on the needs of the businesses we serve.

Since then, we’ve built our development team and capacity, and I’m thrilled to say we now have two dedicated product pods who work tirelessly on developing WorkflowMax in the ways that matter most to you. Take a look at what we’ve achieved so far.

In regards to people, I implemented a global leadership team and created a new customer success and education team.  Together we’ve developed a range of onboarding and education programs to help you be more successful with the product, quicker. 

Now we’re in a great position to move into our next growth stage. Millie Vingrys, who’s currently Head of Marketing – Global,  will be stepping into an acting GM role as we begin recruitment for a new leader to accelerate the great work that the team is planning for you all.

On a personal note, to everyone at WorkflowMax – our customers, our partners and our people –  thank you for making my time in this business so memorable. We’ve achieved a lot and we’ve become stronger together. The past few years have brought about many challenges, but in challenge there’s been fantastic moments of opportunity and innovation across the business. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching the team grow and develop to support our customers and each other over this time.

I am incredibly excited to take on the opportunity to lead Xero’s Asia business, growing the brand and  industry leadership across such a vibrant and dynamic region. I look forward to working closely with our customers and partners to grow the SME community and ecosystem. 

I will always be an ally for WorkflowMax, championing the product and the people from a distance, and I can’t wait to see all of the amazing things to come in the next phase.
